Thomas Jones Primed for a Big 10th Season

File Under: Thomas Jones, training camp, Rex Ryan, Jets Radio, SUNY Cortland

If there’s a professional athlete who’s aged more gracefully than Jets running back Thomas Jones, you’ll certainly have a hard time finding that person. Jones is about to enter his 10th pro season and the 5’10”, 212-pounder promises to be better than ever.

Storms swept across the central New York hills all afternoon, complete with thunder, lightning and heavy rain. The only stoppage was before the start of the practice. The Jets’ special team… More

Next on Agenda: Green & White Scrimmage

File Under: Darrelle Revis, training camp, Rex Ryan, Jim Leonhard, Bart Scott, SUNY Cortland, Green & White Scrimmage

The Jets held a closed light morning practice at SUNY Cortland this morning, and now the focus shifts to the Green & White Scrimmage, which is set to begin at 6 p.m. today.

"The Green and White game, I think, is a good chance for everybody to get a little evaluation of where they’re at," said QB Kellen Clemens, who has taken the majority of first-team reps on offense. "For me it’s all about compl… More
