Eric Mangini joked with reporters at today's news conference who wanted to know if it was now OK to ask non-Brett Favre questions — "We're hitting the limit," he said, then looking to PR director Bruce Speight, "Do we have a rule on this?"

There were quite a few highlights at today's second practice, and the crowd pleaser at the end of the session was the first successful Hail Mary completion of training camp.

FIRST QUARTER

The rain started falling on cue, with the first snap of the Green & White Practice. There are no kickoffs and KO returns in this practice, so Kellen Clemens and the White offense got the ball first.

Clemens hit Leon Washington with a couple of passes, the first going for 27 yards as Leon motored through the secondary. But Clemens was sacked on a fourth-and-1.

Rhodes Rises Up During Morning Review

Saturday morning's training camp practice was a review session of the previous two days, and during the second half of the session, the Jets defense reviewed how it felt to turn over the offense and put a few licks on the guys in the white shirts.

One of the treats of watching every snap of every practice of your favorite NFL team is observing the unheralded or unknown players step up and make play after play.

One of those Jets in today's second practice of camp was WR Paul Raymond, the small, fast undrafted free agent out of Brown.
