C.J. Sure Chad Wants Opener 'Very, Very Bad'

File Under: Chad Pennington, Brett Ratliff, C.J. Mosley, David Clowney, Jesse Chatman, Paul Raymond, Ira Lieberfarb

C.J. Mosley had another decent preseason showing in Philadelphia. The D-lineman was credited with a late pass defense at the line, played an early screen pass perfectly for another incompletion, and chased A.J. Feeley out of the pocket and forcing the Eagles' third QB to unload a pass that was picked off by Abram Elam.

"You just want to get in the game and make a play any chance you get," said Mo… More

Jets-Eagles: First Half

File Under: Kellen Clemens, Brett Ratliff, David Clowney, Jesse Chatman, Paul Raymond

The starting QB matchup is Kellen Clemens vs. Kevin Kolb as expected. But while Kolb plays through the first half, Clemens goes only one series, then gives way to Brett Ratliff, who then returns the ball to Clemens for the third drive.

File Under: Eric Mangini, Drew Coleman, Brett Ratliff, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Abram Elam, Alan Faneca, Paul Raymond

Jets-Giants: Second Half

File Under: Kellen Clemens, penalties, Brett Ratliff, Brett Favre, Jesse Chatman, Dustin Keller, Renaldo Wynn

The suspense was ended very quickly at the top of the second half when, after Ahmad Carroll returned the kickoff for the Jets, No. 11, not No. 4, jogged onto the field to take the snaps from center.

And Kellen Clemens, replacing Brett Favre at QB, did pretty well after a flurry of penalty flags beset the Jets.

Clemens, in fact, hit eight of his 11 passes during his one drive of the night for 80 … More

Worrell Turns In the Last Pick of Summer

File Under: Eric Mangini, James Ihedigbo, Brett Ratliff, Brett Favre, Cameron Worrell, Rock Cartwright

Number 4 isn't the only Jet trying to get himself up to speed quickly with the Green & White schemes. So is No. 45.

And recently things have been falling into place as much for safety Cameron Worrell as they are for QB Brett Favre.

"Coming in, I didn't really have any off-season time to pick the system up and have some OTAs to get the small mistakes out," said Worrell, the former Bear and Dolphi… More
