File Under: Rex Ryan, Secondary, New Orleans Saints, Vernon Gholston, Lito Sheppard, Donald Strickland, Drew Brees

The good news is that Rex Ryan said at today's news conference that injured cornerbacks Lito Sheppard (quad) and Donald Strickland (ankle) are "certainly much better than they were last week."

Sanchez Gets Third Pepsi Rookie Nomination

File Under: Jerricho Cotchery, Rex Ryan, Kris Jenkins, Mark Sanchez, Pepsi Rookie of the Week

Another week, another Jets win and another Pepsi Rookie of the Week nomination for quarterback Mark Sanchez. Looking to extend his Pepsi title reign to three weeks, Sanchez had a hand in all three Jets touchdowns on Sunday as New York’s AFC representative downed the Tennessee Titans, 24-17.

Coming out of the gate hot, Sanchez directed a no-huddle attack on the Jets’ first drive and completed fi… More
