Klecko Leads Jets' Hall of Fame Hopefuls

File Under: Joe Klecko, Boomer Esiason, Ron Wolf, Nick Lowery, Marvin Powell, Chuck Knox, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Canton, Ohio

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's preliminary list of modern-era nominees for the Class of 2009 is out, and of the 133 players, coaches and contributors, six have Jets connections.

And for one of those six, well, it would be nice if he could finally be connected with Canton.

Joe Klecko is one of those six Jets on the list. I'd like to see Klecko in the Hall. I know some of the Hall's hard-working … More

EA: Great Start Required at Buffalo

File Under: Shaun Ellis, Buffalo Bills, Dick Jauron, Trent Edwards, Ralph Wilson Stadium, Travis Henry

We know the Jets’ recent history in Buffalo. The Green & White have won just one of their past five meetings with the Bills in Western New York and they’ve ordinarily been slow starters at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

File Under: Eric Mangini, Laveranues Coles, Buffalo Bills, Phil Simms, Brett Favre, Jim Nantz

Here's a quick early Radar entry to alert you to a "Jets Two-Minute Drive" show that Eric Allen and I are proud of.

Jim Nantz and Phil Simms, the CBS "A" team, will be working Sunday's Jets-Bills game. We sat down with Nantz this week for our guest interview and Nantz was exceptional, talking about his relationship with Simms, his podnuh since 2004, and about his father, whom he wrote about in hi… More

Walking the Walk at Saks Fashion Show

File Under: Nick Mangold, Mike Nugent, Robert Turner, Tony Richardson, Saks Fifth Avenue, Suit Up, Short Hills Mall

Robert Turner, who on Sunday showed us a versatile skill set, can add modeling to the list after Monday night’s Saks Fifth Avenue Suit Up event at the Short Hills Mall in Short Hills, N.J.

Turner and 15 other Jets were on hand, strutting their stuff for a packed house and a good cause, with proceeds going to the New York Jets Foundation.

While players mostly had their outfits chosen for them, … More
